Village Health Works seeks to be a center of excellence, a teaching hospital, and a place where those interested in building their own community-driven organizations can come to learn and perfect their craft.

 Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate health care in a dignified environment while treating the root causes of illness, disease, violence and neglect. We act together, bring decency, real and lasting hope, and happiness through eradication of needless, humiliating human sufferings and ignorance into the communities we serve and work with.
