A Successful Celebration of Hope

On Sunday, April 15, the Upper East Side Women’s Committee hosted “A Family Celebration of Hope” in support of Village Health Works. This fun-filled event took place at the Loeb Central Park Boathouse and featured music, children’s crafts and games. There was face-painting, balloons and also a spirited auction (not to mention fabulous food)!

Bill Gordh and his fellow musicians shared a magical performance that will be a treasured memory for everyone- young and young-at-heart alike! We were also fortunate to have some very energetic volunteers on hand. Whether they were providing a bright welcome to our guests at registration or tirelessly twisting pipe-cleaner animals, their contribution to the day was truly valued.
Thank you to all involved for helping to ‘A Family Celebration of Hope’ a success! Through your generosity we raised valuable funds to support the construction of the Women’s Health Pavilion in Kigutu, Burundi. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Upper East Side Women’s Committee, whose creativity, enthusiasm and commitment to the Women’s Health Pavilion has been inspirational.
